Nine Twenty-Two is a lifestyle shop in Norfolk, Virginia started in 2020 by former flower farmer and floral designer Becky Cohen. Our shop is filled with house plants and gorgeous pots, fresh flowers, unique home goods and beautiful gift items. We search high and low for those things that are beautifully stylish but also useful and well-made. We love when we can support other small businesses like ours and we especially love getting to know the makers and growers we buy from to fill our shelves.
We opened during the pandemic and our hearts have been full since...with customers often driving from other cities to visit. Our customers are the heart of our business and we hold seasonal and special workshops to have a good excuse to invite people in to play.
We launched our online shop in 2022 to bring our thoughtfully-curated line of goods to folks across the country. We are constantly adding new lines and new products even though we are a little picky. Everything we carry must somehow make everyday life just a little better.
Nine Twenty-Two was created by Becky Cohen, previous owner of floral design studio Roost Flowers and Virginia flower farm Back Bay Flower Co. After 14 years of designing flowers and sharing her obsession with plants and her love of beautifully crafted goods, Becky has combined her passions into the awesomeness that is now Nine Twenty-Two.
